One ID per batch A single URL you write to every tag in a production run. Practical with a phone.

Unique ID per tag A numbered list. Needs a desktop encoder that imports a file — a phone can't do this in bulk.

Chip UID (mirror) One identical URL for every tag; the chip adds its own unique UID. Needs NFC Tools Pro.

Batch ID

Prefix + year/month is a good default. Change it each production run.

Writing the tags

Install NFC Tools (free, Android or iOS). NTAG213 stickers are enough — they hold 137 bytes of NDEF, and every URL here fits, because the https://www. part is stored as a single byte. The longest (Protein Peptide) uses 129. NTAG215 costs a little more and gives you room to spare.
Open Write → Add a record → URL/URI and paste the URL. Tap Write, then hold a tag to the phone. Keep tapping tags — the same URL writes to each one, no re-typing.
Before the run, scan one tag with your own phone and check it opens the right product's verification page.
In NFC Tools → Other → Lock tag (or set a password) once you're happy. A locked tag can't be rewritten by anyone downstream. This is permanent, so test first.
Write the batch ID on your production sheet next to the physical batch so you can connect a scan back to a real run later.
